About Us

Brankos was born out of customer demand to supply the coffee we use in our original coffee bar as beans to take away and use at home or in the office.

Paul Sumich (Branko actually being his middle name) worked on this until he was happy with everything. Combining a cycling element to the brand was as important as getting out and about on his bike and is a big part of what gets Paul up every day.

When it was time to take the product global,(or at least to Wellington…) who better to get on board than the current & 5 time National Road cycling champion, Gordon McCauley.

Gordon combines full time work with enough training to stay more than competitive with the current crop of NZ’s top riders. His secret weapon? Brankos coffee of course!

Look out for Gordon and Paul at cycling events around the country, there will always be an extra bag or two of Brankos coffee to get your hands on.
